ERCA's Privacy of Student Information Policy:
Information provided by applicants for the ERCA Community Contribution Scholarship, including name and address information, is used solely for the purpose of selecting and contacting the scholarship awardees. Scholarship winners agree to be featured on the ERCA web page and provide their photos for this purpose.
Student participation in the ERCA survey is entirely voluntary and is not required to apply for an ERCA Community Contribution Scholarship. Non-personally identifiable information learned through the survey is compiled in ERCA’s annual survey report that is made available free of charge online. The personally identifiable information collected from the ERCA survey will be made available to colleges, universities and other educational institutions. In return, those institutions may send students valuable information that may help them choose a college or other post-secondary education.
Personally identifiable information also will be made available to certain other entities nationwide that wish to contact high school students or to help others do so. In addition to colleges, universities and other educational institutions that want to recruit students with the qualifications or interests identified in the survey, these include businesses that market interesting products and services to students and student achievement recognition organizations. Students who have completed the survey may opt-out of these uses at any time with an e-mail to info@studentresearch.org (please include your full name and full address), or you can download, print, and fill out the ERCA Fact Sheet form and mail it to us at the address indicated.
Student specific information will not be made available to the general public.
