Neha Chauhan, Susan E. Wagner HS, Class of 2004, Staten Island, NY

Established Teens for Alzheimer's Awareness, the teenage branch of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, and won several awards for her volunteer research on this devastating disease.



Jaime Chowaniec, Carl Sandburg HS, Class of 2006, Palos Park, IL

Worked with physically challenged students at St. Coletta's of Illinois, and organized an Easter Drive for Hope Children's Hospital before being elected Philanthropy Advisor of her high school student council, where she continues to build on her charitable experience.



Whitney Danker, Wellston HS, Class of 2004, Wellston, OK

Started a community service project called Students Helping and Reaching the Elderly, which provides fresh produce to and raises money for local nursing homes and senior citizens' organizations.



Lisa Evans, Newport Harbor HS, Class of 2004, Newport Beach, CA

Began a neighborhood food drive and collected and distributed toiletries and other necessities. This helped bring together the Newport Beach and Costa Mesa communities.



Erica Glenn, Pleasant Grove HS, Class of 2004, Pleasant Grove, UT

Founded the DreamMaker Theater Workshop, a theater production company for people with special needs. She hopes that one day DreamMaker will be as established as the Special Olympics.
